the 4th quarter - when even a Hail Mary won't save you

October

November

December

So here's what I read in the last quarter of the year - sort of a dismal total. I finished the year off at 53 books - which was just over half of my goal. However, given how crazy of a year it was, I'm not too disappointed.

I don't expect 2015 to be less busy (though hopefully less chaotic) so I'm going to reduce my goal for this year to just 50. Even when I'm busy I can probably handle that. Other than that I'm not setting any hard and fast goals about what I read this year. If I can make it happen I'd like to:
  • continue my goal of working through the Pulitzer prize winners. The 2015 winner (when it's announced) and 5 previous winners. I just purchased two of them, so I'm at least moving in the right direction.
  • read at least 12 works of non fiction.
  • read at least one major classic work.
  • read at least one book written in another language (Spanish specifically, because I'd have a really tough time muddling though anything else, lol).
